Summer Job Blues...

OH...the month of June has come and gone...and no summer job. I do have a job that I can do for the month of July. Wal-Mart has offered me a job in housewares and stationary. The thing is...by the time they get me really hired and in for orientation and training, it will be time for me to quit the job. I have until the end of July to work...minus the days that I need to take for Damon's nose surgery and the time that my grandma and I are going to have a table at Hometown Days in New Carlisle. We leave for Portland, Oregon on August 5 and are gone until really late August 12th...and school starts the 13th...YIKES! The summer will be over before we really know it. Hope all is well...

Day 2 of Bootcamp...

We have been home from our workout for about 45 min...and my hair is still wet from sweat. We are finding it amazing how fast our heartbeats are raised in a very short time. We are finding it fun to workout when you aren't stuck in the gym. I am so proud of Damon and I for doing this and sticking with it. We are already beginning to see a change in our bodies...and our spirits. We just take one day at a time!

Biggest Loser...Michiana Style...

Damon and I have started training with a personal trainer in a group setting...We feel GREAT...we just started this week with eating healthy and today was our first workout. We got our butts kicked...but this is a step in the right direction. We have to be at the location at 5:45 AM and we workout for an hour. We train like they train on the biggest loser...stayed tuned for updates!

MOVING DAY...

Today is moving day at the hatch House. I thought I would blog one last time before I packed the lap top away. We HATE moving...we are to the point today of just having 'little' things left to do...that is always such a pain! Well...we will be back up and running sometime next week!

Craig's List all the way...

This morning Damon put our washer/dryer on Craig's List about 8:30 am...by noon he called and said that he had it sold. I have been doing laundry like crazy today! I have one more load to finish washing and then dry before he gets home and I have to leave for my Stampin' Up Card Club. I think I will remember to take pictures...you should see her work area...it is to die for! It is HOT here today! YUCK!

Hospital Anyone?

Ok...I could not come up with a good title. My Grandma Cook fell on Monday and broke her right knee cap. I have been spending lots of time at the hospital. She had surgury last night and when mom and I left after 9:00 pm she was sleeping in her room. One good thing about my grandma is that she is very poractive about her age and health. She has been in good spirits. Just wanted to keep you all informed...that is why there has been a lack of posts. I have pictures to share of my great uncle's 90th birthday party. That will be another day!
