New Calling...

Within the LDS Church we as members have a chance to serve others in various organizations. I have a new calling in one of those organizations. I will be serving as the Young Women's Secretary. I am excited to fullfill this calling...I am ready to serve some amazing women and also amazing young ladies!

A Summer's Day Out...

Hello!
Are you a mom (or dad) who is home all day with your children in the summer? Would you like a "DAY OUT?"
(Maybe once a week...or more often during the summer?)
I would LOVE to come spend the day with your children while you are out having lunch with friends, shopping, a day at the spa...or just a day of quiet!
I will do crafts, read, play, bake, and go on a field trip with your children to give you a "DAY OUT!"
(Spread the workds to your friends also!)
Time: Anytime between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Evening hours can be discussed...)
Days: Monday-Friday (Thursdays after 2:00 pm!)
Price: $10.00 an hour (You would be responsible for the groceries for lunch and money for any field trips we might go on...Don't worry! I know cheap things to do in town!)
How do you find out if a date is free:

Washington D.C. 2009

Things are not right...I had more pictures but I don't have time right now to load them again. Stay tuned for part 2.

This past week we spent the week in Washington D.C. with the 8th grade class of Schumucker Middle School. The kids were great except for the use of cell phones when they were not allowed. Here are some of my favorite pictures. We were very glad when the bus pulled into SMS on Friday morning. Enjoy!

Attack of the kidney stone...

Damon was in extreme pain on Thursday...he called me at work and I rushed home. I called 911 on my way home. Long story short...they rushed him to the hospital (horrible moaning and groaning) we found out through a CT scan that Damon had a kidney stone. What horrible timing...we are leaving for Washington D.C. next week. Damon did pass the stone on Saturday evening...we are back on track for the D.C. trip. He is back to work today and started the day off right with a sale! Go Damon!
