Thursday Kids...
I have the opportunity to spend a few wonderful hours with 3 special children. Last week {I know I am behind} the theme in the home was Red, White, and Blue. I cut out stars on my Cricut and the children added glitter to them...we made star necklaces..wonder what happed to sweet E's?...and we also made a star garland. These pictures were not taken by me...they were taken by the mom of the sweet children that I get to hang out with! The first two times we hung out...it rained. Last Thursday it was sooo hot we could not even be out to play in the water very long. Hopefully this week...we can go to the park. I have been on the hunt as to what to do with my little friends this week. Please enjoy this website: http://katherinemariephotography.com/blog/ you will not be disappointed!

Sunday Afternoons...
I have yet to figure out how to put the pictures I want in the order I want. When we have church at 9:00 am on Sundays, this gives us a great chance to go to the beach in the afternoon for a few hours. We are very lucky to have such a place to go. It is a private beach, it is quiet, and you feel like you are HOURS away from home.
This is part of the path leading down to the beach...each year it changes just a bit depending on the winter we had.
This is my mom and I as we were packing up our chairs to head back to the cottage, and then do my grandma's house for dinner. My cheeks and nose are quite PINK in case you can't notice!

Oh...how I LOVE Sunday afternoons at the beach...
Just a look up the dunes. That space where there is no dune grass is where the "OLD" beach path was...until the dune got to steep for some of the older people to walk over. The new path is so much more walking friendly!
Oh...how I LOVE Sunday afternoons at the beach...

Summer Outings...
This is my summer reading right now. I am sorry that it is turned sideways...but I imported to the blog before I had a chance to turn it around. I love how developed each of these characters are and how I have the ability to get to know each one of them.
Each week...my mom, grandma, and a dear family friend, Judy, are getting together to do something one day a week. This past Tuesday we went started out in Niles...we heard of a great knitting store. It was closed on the day that we were there. We then headed to New Buffalo. We had lunch at this great little place. On the T-shirts and hats on the back...the tag line is : Sit! Stay! Very Cute!
How I Spend my Thursdays this Summer...
I have the opportunity to spend a few hours each Thursday with some great children.
Here are some pictures from last Thursday!
They have a VERY talented mother...here is her website for your viewing pleasure: http://katherinemariephotography.com/blog/

{This is B...he just melts my heart! }
{Sweet E...I keep telling E & M that I have to learn how to speak 2 year old talk...I keep thinking she is talking about the Amish...I have not yet figured out what she is saying!}

A Summer's Day Out...
Hello!
Are you a mom (or dad) who is home all day with your children in the summer? Would you like a "DAY OUT?"
(Maybe once a week...or more often during the summer?)
I would LOVE to come spend the day with your children while you are out having lunch with friends, shopping, a day at the spa...or just a day of quiet!

Time: Anytime between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Evening hours can be discussed...)
Days: Monday-Friday (Thursdays after 2:00 pm!)
Price: $10.00 an hour (You would be responsible for the groceries for lunch and money for any field trips we might go on...Don't worry! I know cheap things to do in town!)

Attack of the kidney stone...
Damon was in extreme pain on Thursday...he called me at work and I rushed home. I called 911 on my way home. Long story short...they rushed him to the hospital (horrible moaning and groaning) we found out through a CT scan that Damon had a kidney stone. What horrible timing...we are leaving for Washington D.C. next week. Damon did pass the stone on Saturday evening...we are back on track for the D.C. trip. He is back to work today and started the day off right with a sale! Go Damon!

New Job!
Damon started a new job today...thank goodness. He is working in sales for Tru Green Lawn Care. Having this happen took some of the cares off my shoulders! More tomorrow when I post the great paper bag that I made at Friends Craft Night!

This & That
Hello!
I have random pictures to add with a little commentary...who knows what order they will be in! Here we go...
During Conference I needed to get my craft on...this is now haning on my mom's mantel waiting for Easter guests!
Izzy loves to check out what is going on. After this picture, she began taking off the paper one piece at a time.
Kristi, Becky, Sarah, and Michelle having a girls night while the guys were at the priesthood session of conference. Let's do it again soon ladies!

We would not leave out the battle scars...this was the day stitches were taken out...not for the weak stomach
We had some lumber that Damon made into shelves. Things are not organized yet...but I am so looking forward to having my things out where I can see them.

I Need Help!
Hello Friends!
I am starting the hunt for summer employment. I thought I would enlist the help of my friends who have children in this task. I would love to spend my summer in the home of a family with children making crafts, taking field trips, playing in the back yard, reading stories and all of the other FUN summer activities.. Do you know of families that may have children in child/day care during the school year and would like their children to spend the summer at home with a highly quailified, loving, caring, and fun person? If so...please pass my information on to them. I don't want to have to go to a child care center this summer...I would rather spend my time with children in their home and doing things that they might want to do during the summer.
Here is my information:

I am more than willing to provide references and a resume that showcases all the years of experience that I have had working with children. Thank you so much in this endeavor! I may have to work in the summer...but I would love to be able to enjoy it also!
Thanks,
Kirsten Hatch
